For children (7–11), teenagers (12–18) and adults — from Pre A1 to B2. Communicative teaching, an English Speaking Club and real practice with experienced teachers.
The English language courses at Knowledge Academy are built around the communicative approach — we learn to speak, read and write through real situations, not only from the textbook. We offer programs for children, teenagers and adults, tailored to each student’s age and level.
Each student takes an initial placement test and receives an individual development plan. Lessons can be held in person in our language lab or online — with no compromise on quality.
Pre A1 Starters – A1 Movers — phonics, reading, speaking and listening through games, songs and CLIL activities.
A2 – B2 — full communicative competence and preparation for exams and real communication.
A1 – B2 — general and business English, speaking, presentations and emails.
The primary school age (7–11) is an especially effective time to start learning a foreign language due to the unique characteristics of children’s psychology at this stage. Young learners are naturally curious, open to new experiences and less afraid of making mistakes, which helps them engage with the language more freely and confidently. Their ability to imitate sounds and intonation is particularly strong, making it easier for them to develop clear pronunciation and listening skills.
During our lessons children develop a solid and well-rounded foundation in the language. They learn to read and write using phonics, recognize common words and patterns, and gradually build confidence in speaking through short phrases and simple sentences about familiar topics such as family, school, hobbies and daily life. Learners understand and use everyday classroom language, ask and answer simple questions, and apply key grammar structures.
They improve their listening and reading skills through a variety of texts, songs and activities, and demonstrate understanding through tasks, discussions and projects. They also take part in interactive and cross-curricular activities that develop creativity, critical thinking and collaboration.
Overall, students become more confident, accurate and independent users of English, while also building important social skills such as teamwork, responsibility, respect and effective communication.
The age between 12 and 18 is a highly productive period for learning a foreign language, as students develop stronger cognitive, analytical and social abilities. At this stage, learners are able to think more abstractly, understand complex structures, and reflect on language use, which allows for deeper and more systematic language acquisition. They are also more independent and goal-oriented, making it easier for them to take responsibility for their learning and prepare for exams and real-life communication.
Through structured and engaging courses, students develop full communicative competence by integrating reading, listening, speaking and writing skills. They expand their vocabulary across a wide range of real-life and academic topics, and gain confident control of key grammar structures, including various tenses, conditionals, passive voice, reported speech and modal verbs. This enables them to express ideas clearly, describe experiences, discuss opinions, and participate actively in conversations and presentations
Overall, students become confident and independent users of English, capable of using the language accurately and fluently in both academic and real-life situations, while also developing essential life skills such as responsibility, decision-making, empathy and self-expression.
We focus on development of confident and practical communication skills for both everyday and professional situations. Learners improve their overall language level by expanding vocabulary, strengthening grammar, and building accuracy in speaking, listening, reading and writing.
A strong focus is placed on speaking and real-life communication, helping adults express ideas clearly, participate in conversations, and interact effectively in social and work environments. Business English skills are also developed, including professional communication, presentations, meetings and email writing.
For adult learners, we offer a range of flexible and personalised learning options designed to meet both personal and professional goals. These include high-quality online lessons, individual one-to-one sessions, and comprehensive General English courses to build a strong language foundation.
Speaking club is a community for communication and interaction. It’s for those who are a bit frustrated or confused of using English or would like to enhance their speaking skills and deep language confidence. The club creates a safe and supportive space where participants can express their opinions, ideas and emotions, overcome the language barrier, and start speaking more naturally and freely.
Each session combines useful grammar points with engaging global topics and thought-provoking discussions, giving learners a real opportunity to use English in a meaningful way. Participants receive vocabulary support, guiding questions and model answers, so they feel prepared, confident and never lost during conversations. Every session focuses on a different theme, encouraging natural communication and active participation.
Our Speaking Club is more than just practice — it is a space where learners grow in confidence, connect with others, and truly start thinking and communicating in English.
In addition to the regular courses, we offer an English Speaking Club for adults (A1 – B2) — a community for communication where participants overcome the language barrier and start speaking more naturally and confidently. Small groups, real-life topics and a focus on fluency rather than perfection.
